The possibility of completing the RASE form for the withholding of gas and electricity contributions has been extended.

The Ministry of Energy has announced the new natural gas tariffs that will be applied to residential users of the network service that will remain without subsidies according to the provisional adjustment established by the Government, between 1 June and 1 October.

It did so with resolution 610/2022 published this Tuesday in the Official Gazette, which implemented the new tariff rates “by region, taking into account the principle of fairness and equality.”

The surcharges will apply only to level 1 users, with higher income, and to those who have not completed the registration form in the Energy Contribution Access Register (RASE), provided that levels 2 (lower income) and 3 (average income) will not undergo any changes as for the fare they were paying.

Therefore, the users included in the level 1 segment will pay the full cost of public natural gas services per network content of the invoice, in a gradual process and in bimonthly quarters, so that, at the end of the current year, they pay the full cost of the energy billed to them.

The resolution defines, for example, that a family in the orbit of Metrogas that loses subsidies and that today pays 10.05 pesos per cubic meter (m3) of gas, will pay in the first step (of the three foreseen) in which the subsidies will be reduced by $ 13.41 per m3; $ 18.60 on the second pass, and finally, you’ll pay $ 25.80 on the third. That means, more than 150% compared to today

As of Monday, over 9 million households had already completed the RASE form. Once the registration phase with the DNI termination number is closed, the procedure is still open for those who have not yet completed the procedure. “The RASE does not close, what won was the first cut”the vice president of Cammesa, Santiago Yanotti, assured him, who had anticipated that in the next few days the resolutions would be published with the new tariff charts deriving from the new subsidy scheme and which in the case of gas were now known.

The tariff increase will be carried out without a public hearing, as defined in the resolution it is not an increase in prices but the withdrawal of subsidies of the state.

Where is the highest and cheapest price paid?

According to the new graphs, users of the Tierra del Fuego province will have the lowest gas price per cubic meter, at $ 6.37; Y those in the north of Buenos Aires the highest, $ 13.93; after the first adjustment.

These values will increase from this mes at $ 8.83 and $ 19.32 respectively; and in Novemberand will return to $ 12.25 and $ 26.79.
