The 150,000 million extrusion plant does not start because the government does not provide energy.

Formosa imports 100% of proteins for animal production Therefore, the soy processing plant installed by Francisco Paoltroni, a native of General Alvear, Buenos Aires, and a team of professionals, is strategic for the agricultural production and economy of the province.

In this context, Paoltroni underlines that “the national and provincial constitutions guarantee the right and access to public services, therefore, with our feasibility project approved by the supplier company itself, the only thing they have to do is give us the connection. With everything ready with people ready to go out into the light, at any moment they suspended the connection without giving us explanations “.

So we went to court with a appeal for protection last Monday – the judicial fair just ended – and we hope that justice will be rendered as soon as possible to obtain the connection since everything is within the limits of the law and regulations. We also made a presentation to the Formosa Public Works and Services Regulatory Body, which is the body that regulates the company Refsa (Resources and Energy Formosa SA.

“We had construction delays due to the delay in the delivery of various elements, for problems that are in the public domain such as the closure of imports, with which everything was very slow, but we finally managed to complete the work.. We are ready to begin to operate, only the lowering of the light is missingwe have already bought our transformer and all the intralocal poles, we just need the connection ”, he underlines.

In this sense, Paoltroni, who will stand as a candidate to fight Gildo Insfrán for the office of governor in 2023, denounces that they do not make the corresponding link to belong to another political party.

“It is a contradiction, on the one hand we have the President who asks that the sector liquidate and export, and here we have soy ready to process it and they don’t connect the light to us. These are the inconsistencies of our country and this explains the backwardness of the province of Formosa which has a potential of two million agricultural hectares and only 80,000 hectares are plantedaccording to the latest census, ”says Paoltroni.

“For all this we are not a world agri-food power, because we are driven by the least fit. They have generated a poverty plan in which production is threatened, the generation of work is threatened, and this is a case that everyone can see, which, thanks to the networks and the media, is completely exposed ”.

This plant will have a commercial relationship with about 50 SMEs because it is a link between the different production chains, be they soybean producers or fattening farms, pigs and egg producers, among others. And it will provide local proteins for the entire province. At the same time it gives power to agriculture, as a link between the two great supply chains, agriculture and the meat supply chain.

The investment in this first phase was 150 million pesos, which started in March 2021, but that’s just the beginning as the plant is ready to grow and can double its capacity. In principle, its processing capacity will be 1.2 tons of grain per hour. And they can also advance in development for the industrialization of by-products, such as methylated oil made from crude oil, biodiesel, or blending and refining for human consumption.
