This increase is explained, among others, by the increase in “current living expenses” (1,219.82 euros, +1.92%), which include rentals and charges (552 euros), current consumption expenses (366 euros), transport (105 euros), leisure (78 euros), meals in the university restaurant (66 euros) and telephone and internet (53 euros).

For its part, re-entry costs increased by 13.04%, to 1,307.20 euros. These are the cost of complementary health care (411 euros), the agency fees (250 euros), the teaching material (305 euros), the university tuition (170 euros), the student life and campus fee (95 euros). and home insurance (76 euros). .

“Total overhaul of the existing system”

According to the union, its cost indicator “reveals that the social situation of students is deteriorating considerably, much more than in recent years.” The Federation calls to consider “in the first place the question of social assistance and its reform”.
