Conclusions
During a day of debate, analysis and comparison, the influencers summoned for the advisory council contributed their points of view, suggestions and life experiences in the various fields of specialization.
The main conclusions were:
- Blockchain and Gaming are the future: In a world where the differences between social groups are widening more and more, these young people see technology as an ally to help reduce this problem, and blockchain technology in particular. They also identify the technologies of game as essential for companies to grab the attention of their generation.
- Technology is the most powerful tool for fighting the gender gap: While this is a pervasive social problem, the “Igniters” agree that the tech industry can take steps to narrow the gender gap through the use of a more inclusive programming language, product design and more.
- Sustainability and the environment all connect: Organizations that help improve the environment and prioritize sustainability are allies of the new generation. Centenarians appreciate, care and immerse themselves in these initiatives and are more likely to support companies that also reflect and act on these principles.
- The Metaverse is the new Internet of the 90s: To them, the metaverse is similar to how the internet was in the 1990s, in that they are unsure of its full potential, but believe organizations should prioritize its discovery. Furthermore, they see the metaverse as the place where their generation can digitally claim their authentic identities. Beyond all the remaining questions surrounding this technology, one thing is certain: virtual spaces like the metaverse encourage many people to express themselves as they are.
- Job transformation is flexible and purpose-oriented: The “Igniters” confirmed that new generations need a flexible work environment to be able to express their creativity and an organization that offers professional development opportunities that help them grow beyond perceived limits. “If I were to join a company, I would like to have an added value, an extra motivation. That it is not a stagnant job, but in which you can improve and grow. A job in which your commitment is recognized, ”said Zaina during the meeting.
