Catherine MacGregor, general director of Engie, assured this Friday morning that France should not, “a priori”, run out of gasoline this winter.

As Russia threatens to turn off the gas tap, will we have enough to get us through the winter? Invited this Friday morning on RTL, the general manager of Engie wanted to be reassuring. “We are relatively calm about the gas situation in France,” said Catherine MacGregor.

100% inventory

To deal with a possible gas shortage, the government has set itself the goal of filling France’s gas reserves to 100%. A goal that should be reached “early winter” and “we are very confident” to get there, said Catherine MacGregor

Catherine MacGregor called again for alcohol consumption to be reduced, saying the “sobriety message” remains “extremely important”.
