The boom in the soybean dollar continues: nearly 6 million tons have already been traded

The sales boom continues into the second week of the new exchange rate for soybeans (soybean dollar) coming into effect.More than one million tons of soybeans were traded on Monday and there are already 5.7 million, according to the last report of the Rosario Stock Exchange.

During this Monday, SIO-Granos recorded 1.05 million tonnes of soybean operations, including both new sales contracts and transaction settlements agreed before Monday, and excluding cancellations. With this, the total soybean business in the domestic market since the entry into force of the export increase program amounts to 5.7 million tons.

In the transactions recorded yesterday, the main items of the volume of registrations were the new sales contracts concluded in pesos on Monday 12 and on previous dates but recorded that day, for a total of 743,203 tons. The average value of these deals was $ 66,565. On the other hand, there are also scheduled operations fixes before Monday for 176,785 tons, reaching an average value of $ 68,986.

Regarding the businesses agreed in US dollars, the soybean sales contracts concluded on Monday recorded an average value of 365 US dollars / t, for a volume of 11,349 tons; while hardware for 35,078 tons was recorded at an average value of US $ 365.

“It is important to point out that, as the days go by, slight changes are observed in the SIO-Granos platform in the notes of the previous days due to various changes in the registered companies”, remarked by the entity.

In addition, the SIO-Granos data includes all ways of negotiating the local market, and deviates from the weekly data published by the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries (SAGyP), with a delay of one week, where they are collected only the fine purchases of the industrial and export sectors.
