Sandra Mihanovich, daughter of César’s heart, read a letter that Mascetti wrote on September 12 and in which he said goodbye, assuring him that he would die as he wanted.

After reading the letter written in Mascetti’s handwriting, his relatives opened a basket containing pigeons, another of the driver’s passions.

Mascetti died at the age of 80, after suffering from biliary tract cancer that kept him hospitalized for the last time.
