Tribute to Japanese culture
An exhibition dedicated to Japanese culture is inaugurated, sponsored by The Japanese Garden. Argentine artists and plastic designers, together with the Japanese community watercolorist Julia Funai, present their works in an exhibition that addresses the wide and diverse universe of Japanese culture and its traditions: paintings, drawings, sculptures, photographs, origami, music traditional and kimono. Diana Dowek’s quote expresses her thoughts as soon as she enters the show. There, where so many people were forced by the world’s adversities a century ago, the artist shows her series on the Syrian war with an emphasis on destruction that mobilizes thousands of people trying to save and rebuild their lives. MUSIC: Festival of emerging cities
The 15th edition of the historic festival has started. There will be music, visuals, urban culture, technology, sports, literature, performance, fashion and design, gastronomy, space emergency –With special activities for children– and the new Green space of Buenos Aires.
The first appointment ends with the concert # 15 Hit Pop!an unprecedented show that brings together 15 artists who have written the history of Ciudad Emergente, singers who performed at the Festival when they were emerging and who return today, already consecrated: An Espil, Brenda Martín and Lula Bertoldi, Bambi, Celli, Chano, Juan Ingaramo, Silvina Moreno and Nashy-Nashai.
