The show, unusual for a rock artist, had premiered a year earlier at the Avenida Theater. His album came out of that concert 11 symphonic episodes.
Charly García also chose this symphonic format to perform at the Colón in 2013 with Parallel lines – impossible artifice, a recital for which he summoned the conductor Patricio Villarejo to give it a more intimate and chamber sound.
In 2006, Luis Alberto Spinetta performed many of his classics such as Maribelat the helm of the Academic Orchestra, also in the emblematic Teatro Colón.
A year ago Fito Páez honored Charly García, on the occasion of the musician’s 70th birthday, with a moving concert at the Colón Theater, full of guests. Fito reviewed Charly’s songs accompanied by his band, along with an orchestra and musicians from the mythical Colosseum in Buenos Aires.
