The conditioning fundamentaliststhe band that Indio Solari formed in 2005 to play live as a soloist, announced yesterday on their official Instagram account that they will play again at the Unico stadium in La Plata, next Saturday, November 12th.
“We close this stage in the place where it started, the Single Stadium of La Plata, Diego Armando Maradona. Last show of ‘Rock and Roll’. Tickets on sale starting Monday at 20:00 on tuentrada.com”, says the Message.
So, everything seems to indicate that the cycle of recitals is over that the group toured the country without Indio Solari as a singer, at least not on stage, as he sang from a video screen on several occasions.
A group of talents
The Fundamentalists of Air Conditioning is composed by Gaspar Benegas and Baltasar Comotto on vocals and guitar; Pablo Sbaraglia on vocals, keyboards and guitar; Fernando Nalé on vocals and bass; Deborah Dixon and Luciana Palacios in the choirs; Sergio Colombo on vocals and sax; Miguel Angel Tallarita on trumpet; and Ramiro López Naguil on drums.
The last show they had given in Argentina was in San Luis in August.
On December 11 and 12 last year, the group had offered two full-stage performances of the Único in the return in attendance following the disruption of live performances imposed by the pandemic.
The origin of the project without Indio
The shows without the presence of Indio Solari started in November 2019, to raise funds for a complex medical treatment for the group’s former drummer, Martín Carrizo. To everyone’s surprise, it was a hit and sold out for two shows.
In the midst of the pandemic they held a streaming concert, called from satellitesin September 2020. Almost six months later, they repeated the virtual format of Epecuén, with the show to the birds.
In December 2021 they filled the Unico stadium twice, then went on tour in Spain, with shows in Barcelona, Palma de Mallorca, Madrid, Valencia and Malaga.
This year they played at the National Festival of the Longest Night (Tierra del Fuego), at the Autodrome of Villa Mercedes (San Luis) and at the Municipal Velodrome of Montevideo.
What everyone sings live
During a recital of Los Fundamentalistas del Aire Acondicionado, almost all of its members take on the first voice, replacing Indio Solari.
Keyboardist Pablo Sbaraglia, for example, usually does this Tomasito can you see me?sings guitarist Gaspar Benegas The treasure of the innocents and the other guitarist Baltasar Comotto takes care of the singing Amnesia.
