The plot is located in a house that seems to stand still in timewhere an old mother waits, with hope, the return of her dead son 40 years ago in that war that took the lives of dozens of young people.

Her youngest daughter, Elisa, supports her and it supports her in that distorted vision of reality. An older son, on the other hand, dismisses the situation with sarcasm, underestimating his sister’s efforts. But, on a rainy night, the already consumed order of that house breaks down the arrival of a new neighbor, whom the sick mother confuses with the child who is expecting.
