This was reported by his art office, which announced the cancellation of shows in Mexico and Santo Domingoas well as providing details on the situation the 77-year-old artist is going through.
As reported in a press release, Milanés is hospitalized for “the effects of a series of recurring infections which have affected his state of health in the last three months”.
“This clinical situation is secondary to an oncological disease who suffered for several years and who asked him to settle in Madrid at the end of 2017 to receive treatment”, they detailed in the document.

Likewise, according to its official website, there was a show on the agenda for this Sunday in the Spanish city of Pamplona, which was also suspended.
It is not the first time that the singer has been forced to postpone his concerts due to health problems.
Is that Pablo Milanés already had to cancel last September the show he had planned to give in the Dominican capital, which was postponed until December.
As for the latest cancellations, so far their reps have not announced the rescheduling of their shows. Any new dates will be scheduled on the basis of the singer’s health and his physical and mental state.
