In an impressive cast, this new series is presented by its author as a intimate philosophical chronicle featuring characters that are on time balance sheets.

As we approach our sixties, we are often at the time of stock acquisition. Who hasn’t asked themselves, one day, “have I succeeded in my life? What is life, does it have meaning, what is happiness? What is like?” It’s all about it Fragments, Serge Boucher explained at a press unveiling on Wednesday.

A ghost that will reverse everything

The spark that brought the quartet to life from Victoriaville was an impromptu meeting between François Bibeau, played by James Hyndman, and his childhood sweetheart Marlène Cormier, played by Céline Bonnier. For a reason that will be known as the series progresses, Francois was expelled from the group nearly four decades ago.

The other two members of the quartet were Paul-André and Renaud, played by René Richard Cyr and Luc Guérin respectively. The two men now form a couple living just below Marlène Cormier, taken under her wing Tomas (Félix-Antoine Duval), from a union between Renaud and Jacinthe (Camille Felton ), a former friend of the group since long ago.

Around these characters are also intriguing François’s two sons: Céleste (Schelby Jean-Baptiste) and Edouard (Irdens Exantus).

Fragments of life

Fragments is a series that plays on a variety of timelines, including with members of the original Victoriaville quartet in the 1980s and with the adults they became after moving to Montreal.

It is a series where the past, present and future continue to interact. Throughout the series, encounters and face-to-face encounters will allow us to learn things about the past. [des personnages]. These are fragments of established life. What made us who we are today?summary by Serge Boucher.

The series celebrates life, love, desire, ass, happiness and death. I think this is a series about healing. The most important thing about the series is that it brings the individual back to the heart of the group, in this society that is very individual these days.

The series consists of 10 60-minute episodes Fragments will premiere next season on ICI Tou.tv Extra.
