Gangnam Style, the famous song by South Korean rapper Psy, celebrates 10 years this December 21 since it became the first video on the YouTube platform in exceed 1 billion views.
The song, released five months earlier, was supposed to be a product aimed exclusively at the South Korean audience, but It ended up becoming a global viral phenomenon and in one of the cornerstones of the “Hallyu” phenomenon, the so-called wave of South Korean popular culture.
