On his constant comings and goings, separate projects and so on. Vicentico said some have stated: “I can’t do many other things than sing and make songs, It’s my way of living and carrying on life. I’ll say something for everyone, because I know them a lot: what happens with alternative Cadillac projects is what we do while the band doesn’t do something.”
“When the spirit of the band calls us to do something, we drop everything and start doing that something. When Cadillac stops touring, we’ll go back to our lives, from not being bored to making our own plans and always keeping the music alive.” he said.
Bassist Flavio Cianciarulo added, “When we’re turned off in a group, we’re turned on in other creative cells doing different things.”
Duet with Thunder
When Los Fabulosos Cadillacs toured Mexico in October, they played the Coordenada Festival, Guadalajara, to a crowd and they surprised everyone with the rapper’s appearance Trueno, who would also make a show at the same bout.
during the hit Smellythe song by bassist Flavio Cianciarulo which condemns dictatorships -and whose video shows images of Hitler, Mussolini, Lenin, Saddam Hussein, Pinochet and Videla- the led band invited Trueno to improvise a rap.
Before Vicentico himself and saxophonist Sergio Rotman signaled to enter the scene, the Argentine artist from La Boca took it naturally, greeted the audience and began with his rhymes.
“Although they come with a heavy hand, we are the generation that shits on dictatorship”, were one of the first verses that Thunder launched on stage, to continue loading the ink on dictatorships, power and the choice of young people to live freer life.
