Ángel De Brito interviewed Tini Stoessel on his show THEY (America, at age 20). There were also Rodrigo De Paul, his partner, and Alejandro Stoessel, father and producer of the singer, at the Campo Argentino de Polo, to follow the chat between the driver and Tini.
At the beginning of the note, De Brito asked Tini about the most difficult moment she had to experience this year: her father was literally on the verge of death. “Everything happened overnight. And they had told us to say goodbye to him,” he recalled her, “it was only when he came out of intensive care that we relaxed a little more.”
Grateful to all the fans who were waiting for her at the door of the clinic where Alejandro Stoessel was being treated and told her “I pray for your dad, I lit a candle for dad…”, Tini said: “My father and I work together. The project is for both. Without him, nothing on the show would have been the same.“.
Moved, Tini Stoessel recalled the days when her father’s life was in danger and said: “When he was very ill, I told him: ‘Come on, let’s go to Qatar to see the final.“. “I am happy with this end of the year because the blows have made me stronger,” the singer reflected.
And with reference to the criticisms and gossip, he explained to De Brito: “It is a daily job to understand that the people who comment do not live with you in your house, they do not know your reality. And coming out to clarify is worse, because it’s becoming part of the game. Sometimes it’s better to say ‘The people next to me know how things went and with that I’m calm’.
“I’m super sensitive, but I’ve been working for so many years that I know that impulsivity is useless“, stressed the singer and actress.
Tini spoke about her decision to travel to Qatar
Ángel De Brito wanted to know how Tini Stoessel lived the situation that the networks started discussing whether or not it would bring De Paul luck at the World Cup, whether it could hurt his performance. “They said all this for your fame, because they didn’t say anything like that about other players’ women…”, the driver of THEY.
“I didn’t expect them to pick on me Tini replied. But she was becoming more and more. And she didn’t make any sense! And I thought of my father, who said how happy he would be to be together in Qatar. So, I said: ‘How am I going to stop making decisions about something outside my life?’ and for that, I went“.
“At another time I wouldn’t have done it, I wouldn’t have had the strength to do it,” he added, referring to his trip to support the national team in Qatar after watching the first match in Buenos Aires. “I went and was very nervous. But, thank God, Argentina won. I stayed three games and they won all three. I couldn’t be in the final due to work reasons,” he added.
Tini and her crush on Rodrigo De Paul
When De Brito wanted to know about the love story between Tini and De Paul, he replied without hesitation: “What I liked most about Rodri is his way of seeing life and taking care of the people he loves. He is a positive and calm guy. I go with the dark side of things and he shows me the other side. He lifts me up and makes me smile constantly.”
“Everything was discussed yesterday,” said Tini referring to Rodrigo De Paul’s appearance on stage during the show he gave last Thursday at the Campo Argentino de Polo. “I’m shorter than him of words. And it was wonderful to receive those beautiful words”, she added, referring to the great declaration of love that the footballer made in front of the public.
