“It’s been 6 years since my mom died (seems like 2 but also 705 at the same time?). And unlike most other years since she died, These past two weeks have been some of the happiest of my life.”he wrote.

“Giving birth to my daughter and seeing my son meet her were two of the most magical moments I’ve experienced. But with the magic of life tends to come the reality of pain,” Lourd continued. “My mother isn’t here to meet any of them and she’s not here to experience the magic.”

Two weeks ago, Lourd and her husband Austen Rydell they welcomed their second child, Jackson Joanne. They also share a 2-year-old son, Kingston Fisher.

The actress went on to say that “sometimes the magical moments can also be the hardest.”

“That’s what happens with pain. I wish my mother was here, but she’s not.“, she wrote. “So all I can do is hold on to the strongest magic, hold my children a little tighter. Tell them a story about her. Share your favorite things with them. Tell them how much I would love them “.

Fisher died on December 27, 2016 at the age of 60, just one day before her mother, Debbie Reynolds, died at 84.
