The lyrics of Shakira’s new song and several dedications to Piqué
In “BZRP Music Session #53,” the 45-year-old artist dropped steamy lines to his ex-boyfriend, former Spanish footballer Gerard Piqué, such as “so much that you gave yourself as a champion and when I needed you, you gave the your worst version” or “I realized that it’s not my fault if they criticize you, I just make music, sorry if I splashed you”.
The Colombian went even further and also referred to more private things of the couple and did not hesitate to throw heavy artillery at her ex: “This is for him to mortify you, chew and swallow, swallow and chew” or “women I’m already them don’t cry, women bill”.
This song is not the first message that Shakira sends Piqué after their breakup, because last year she presented two singles -“I congratulation you”, with Puerto Rican artist Rauw Alejandro, and “Monotónía”, in collaboration with Ozuna – with messages alluding to his former partner.
Although they are already divorced, last December the Colombian and the former footballer signed the agreement in a Barcelona court which allows the artist to settle with his sons, Milan and Sasha, aged 9 and 7, in Miami.
