At 19, he assures that being away from his family has been very heavy for him: “I’ve never been so long without seeing them.” And he admits: “I hid inside because I was always with a smile, in a good mood, but I thought about them all the time and I worried about how they were”, he says his nine siblings.
Thiago assures that he even dreamed of his departure. “If I fall on a plate, I’m gone,” he said what happened in the dream and that’s how it happened. “It’s happened to me several times, inside, dreaming about stuff like this and it’s never happened to me before.” And he assures that, despite this, he had a great time. “It was a unique experience, it opened my mind to so many things. I had a lot of fun in the gym, in the sauna and especially with my teammates.”
The young man is excited imagining how his friendship will continue outside of reality, with many of his former teammates, such as Alexis Quiroga (El Conejo), or Nacho Castañares, with whom he felt more affinity. “I’d love for us to get together to eat and talk about everything. I feel very identified with Nacho because of his history and that also brought us together,” he says.
