“At the age of 14 I went to work at the Central Market. I was doing the cart, putting together the lists that is to put the fruit and vegetables on the premises. A friend taught me everything I needed to learn and I started letting go” Thiago recalled.
In turn, she said she learned many of her values from her mother before she died: “I’ve always looked for him to go to work. And I’ve never been ashamed to ask. I used to go to the bakery after work and order. My mother told me I shouldn’t be ashamed to ask, because stealing was shameful.”
