Next Tuesday, January 31, Pamela Anderson will be under the magnifying glass twice. that day will be published With love, Pamela, the book of his memories; and simultaneously, Netflix releases a documentary about his lifetitled Pamela Anderson: a love story.
While both content launches are more than a week away, some passages of the book have come to light, as a promotion. In one of them, the actress details a disturbing incident that she experienced on the set of Home Improvement with Tim Allen, the protagonist of the series.
“The first day of shooting, I came out of my dressing room and Tim (Allen) was in the hallway in his robe. His robe was open and he was completely naked underneath.reveals Anderson, 55.
“He said it was right, because he had seen me naked. ‘Now we are even’. I laughed uncomfortably,” he adds in that excerpt from With love, Pamela to which site Variety accessed before publication.
The incident occurred in 1991, when Pamela was 23 years old. It is assumed that Allen – famous for being the voice of Buzz Lightyear in the saga toy story-, who was 37 at the time, was referring to one of the famous Playboy magazine covers that it catapulted Anderson to the rank of international sex symbol.
Anderson’s explosive accusation against his former partner is one of many the book will include which traces her meteoric rise from a small-town girl in Vancouver, Canada, to one of the most well-known and desired women in the world.
Allen’s answer
“No, it never happened. I would never do such a thing”Allen said Variety in a statement that the actor who embodies Santa Claus in the Disney franchise shared as a replica.
Home Improvementone of the most watched sitcoms of the 90s in the United States, it launched Allen to stardom and marked the beginning of Pamela’s television career.
Allen played Tim “The Tool Man” Taylor, the protagonist of the story, a family man who hosts a television show to improve and repair the house.
Anderson played Lisa “The Tool Girl” – one of Taylor’s assistants on the show – for the first two seasons of the ABC sitcom, before leaving her to focus on Baywatchwhich has become a global phenomenon exported to 150 countries.
