As if time had not passed, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr met Thursday night at a party and both musicians have not stopped dancing and cracking jokes together, as in their Beatles best days half a century ago.
The former mates of the most famous band in history met at an event on Thursday and showed off some incredible dance moves Ringo himself shared a video on his social networks.

“Dude this beautiful day is getting better and better we were at Stella McCartney’s roller skating party,” Starr, 82, wrote on Twitter. “What a time we had with Paul, peace and love.”
In the video, McCartney, 80, leans in for a hug as the two dance and clap to the 1976 disco hit. Young hearts run free by Candi Staton.
The two were in attendance at Henson Recording Studios in Los Angeles to celebrate the collaboration of McCartney’s daughter, the stylist Stella McCartney, with the Adidas brand, second The news market.
But there was someone else who joined the musicians at the party and they did Julian Lennonthe eldest son of another former bandmate, John Lennon, who was murdered in 1980.

Always together
Starr and McCartney, who rose to fame as the Fab Four alongside Lennon and George Harrison, have maintained a friendship over the years since the Beatles broke up in the early 1970s. And it’s not the first time they’ve had a loving reunion.
Both have recently appeared in the documentary Abbey Road, if these walls could sing, managed by another of Paul’s daughters, Mary McCartneywhere the story of the legendary London recording studio is told through the voice of the protagonists.
For her part, Starr said the friendship between them still continues and she confirmed it in 2021 when she spoke to PEOPLE (The TV show) and at which point he replied in the affirmative when asked if he still considered his fellow Beatles as “his best friends in life”.
“Yes. I had dinner with Paul when we were in London last week. We’re still friends,” Ringo had said. “We usually talk about how badly dressed he is. We talk about whatever it is. About the food, football, music. I don’t know why people think we have different things to talk about. We talk about the same thing when everyone is talking.”
In another interview, the drummer told host Jimmy Kimmel on his TV show Live!around the same time, that he and Paul spoke “regularly” via the FaceTime app.
“I was just in England and we really saw each other physically,” Starr said, later noting that he and his wife Barbara Bach were out for dinner with McCartney and his wife, Nancy Shevell, as well as Harrison’s widow, Olivia Harrison.
Friendship with Julian Lennon
Both Paul and Ringo also remain close in their relationship with Julian Lennon, and John’s son recently shared a photo of a run-in he had with McCartney, whom he calls “Uncle Paul,” at an airport.
At the time, Lennon Jr. had said, “It’s amazing who you meet in an airport lounge! None other than Uncle Paul.” It was last November and Julian shared it on his Twitter account: “So adorable, and of so many possibilities! … Grateful.”
