It has always known how to compete with products for all genres and tastes, whatever the signals or platforms they are. But, amid its thematic breadth, he managed to save, every two to three, a space for the plots of missing girls or teenagers. It’s like one of his strong points.

did it with missing (played by Miguel Ángel Solá, known on our TV as Bruno Sierra, the face of the law), with Suspectedwith Losswith Where is Martha… And now it does with the snow girlthe series of six episodes which Netflix just released and worth watching.

Based on Javier Castillo’s novel of the same name, her literary success is added to a good cocktail of ingredients which, a priori, made her interesting. And as soon as he was released on January 27th, everything met the taste of the public, which placed it at the top of the most viewed from the platform.

One of the strengths of this Spanish production is the main role of Milena Smiththe young woman who dazzled at Pedro Almodóvar’s orders in parallel mothers. Here, at the age of 26, he composes Miren Rojo, a journalist who makes his palotes as an intern at the newspaper Sur. Suddenly comes the case of the disappearance of Amaya Martín.

Amaya is a 5-year-old girl, who had gone with her parents to the impressive Cabalgata de los Reyes, in Malaga, the night of shoe placementwater and grass for the camels.

This news not only arouses the journalistic interest of Miren, but also shakes all his past of suffering. What many in social networks qualify (and disqualify) as “expressionless face”it is no more than another example of the actress’ composition of a living dead girl.

as well as inside parallel mothers he had the blessing of sharing the scene with an expert Penelope Cruzhere it does with José Coronado. And, both from one and from the other reciting duel, Milena Smit comes out more than graceful.

His thing, inside this storyline combining drama and suspense, makes her investigate, for nine years, what happened to Amaya. AND what points of contact there may be between that case and yours. And his path goes hand in hand with the police investigation, led by Inspector Belén Millán, who a few years ago was unable to do anything with Miren’s pain (his story is slowly being told).

In each of the thematic corners of this fiction there is a consecrated name that invites you to find out what they will do now: Crowned as the journalist who has as many avenues to the top as contacts anywhere, Tristan Ulloa (one of the Cortázars in Grand Reserve), Aixa Villagran like the policewomanPerfect life over there, Paco’s men) AND Cecilia Freirethe beautiful Rita of velvet.

But beyond the credits, there is a nimble story, good suspense management (especially in the sixth episode) and excellent performances.

Possibly, the permanent return resource over time (with stopovers in 2010, 2016 and 2019) and certain clichés of selfish confrontations between journalists and police officers lower it from a possible label of “very good” to “good”. But, for some cases, there should also be the yapa rating From “worth it”.
