Celebrity reaction after Fernando Báez Sosa crime verdict

After the sentence against the rugby players for the crime of Fernando Baez Sosasocial networks were filled with different opinions, many of which came from personalities from the artistic environment, who asked for “Justice for Fernando” during the trial held in the city of Dolores.

The Oral Criminal Court 1 of Dolores sentenced life imprisonment for five of the eight accused of beating Fernando Báez Sosa to deathin the early morning of January 18, 2020 at Villa Gesell, while the other three were considered secondary participants.

The judges ruled that Máximo Thomsen (23), Ciro Pertossi (22), Enzo Comelli (22), Matías Benicelli (23) and Luciano Pertossi (21) were co-perpetrators of the crime of “Murder doubly aggravated by the premeditated concurrence of two or more people and treason in an ideal concurrence of minor injuries”. While Blas Cinalli (21), Ayrton Viollaz (23) and Lucas Pertossi (23) were considered secondary participants in the same crime a sentence of 15 years’ imprisonment.

Cinthia Fernández, on her Twitter account, was against the sentence. “15 years for the other 2 bullshit?… Is Fernando’s life worth”, wondered the speaker. “Is 15 years worth the life of a healthy kid with everything ahead? What a role #appeal,” he added. And she clarified her indignation about her: “Fucking justice. What a rant I have.”

For her part, Florencia de la Ve shared a television footage at the time of Thomsen’s fainting and expressed: “Now they cry… impunity is over.” Former GH Gastón Trezeguet also added: “Fernando was more unbalanced and they kicked him in the head.”

“Now they faint, they beg, they cry. Shit. Guilty! Murderers! Shit”underlined Débora D’Amato, rapporteur of A la tarde (América), alongside a photo of Fernando’s eight assassins.

“Historic day. The phrase that we all wanted to hear that Justice exists. A day to teach our children that they must never use violence. Never. With anyone. May this tragedy STOP THE VIOLENTS!”analysed, for her part, Marisa Brel, a member of the Big Brother debate.
