“Glen’s character has a soul that slowly reveals itself as the film progresses,” Raimi continued. It seems like he’s just a thief, someone who doesn’t care about others, but as the story unfolds, you realize that he has a wife and child that he loves and has been wronged, and all this experience makes you it gives an opportunity to reflect on how you treated them and how you lived your life in relation to them.

“But this is not so much a thrilling film as it is one of action and tension, an ongoing thrill with characters at the heart of which you begin to care. It will be a satisfying experience for the audience,” she defined.

the other remakes

It will not be the first remake of the film released on 4/4/2019. There is one made in Brazil, and another in India, produced by Netflix.

In the Brazilian one, titled put in a cagedirected by Joao Wainer and starring Chay Suade, star of several TV series, and Alexandre Nero (who made the TV series Empire AND In Regra do Jogo), the thief wears, like Peter Lanzani’s character, a pink jersey, but it’s not the alternative jersey of Boca Juniors.

The character that Luis Brandoni had, the retired mediator, who helped the police, is played by a woman (Mariana Lima). The trailer perhaps tells too much about the film, because it includes images very close to the end. It premiered almost a year ago on February 17, 2022.

But the Indian version is much more peculiar. In Dongalunnaru Jaagratha the thief also opens the driver’s door using a tennis ball, but is no longer wearing pink.

And they added a twist, as seen in the trailer, with a homemade bomb that fits in the car, with the clock indicating it’s about to explode.

It was directed by Satish Tripura, starring Sri Simha Koduri, Samuthirakani and Murali Sharma and released on 23rd September 2022. The trailer has its share of humour, only at the end when it reads that the film “Parks on September 23 September “.
