A new entrant has made an impact Guido Kaczka with the story of his life the 8 steps (El Trece, Monday to Friday at 9.15pm). And besides, she showed a lot of knowledge and he accumulated 8 million pesos in awards and goes for the program record.
It is about Ignacio, from Temperley, a 43-year-old history teacher, who when the driver asked him about his profession he revealed that he was a priest in the past and a few years ago he left the habit for the love of a woman, whom he intends to marry.
“When I was young I went to a Catholic school. I was born in Mercedes, province of Buenos Aires, I believe the seed was there, if you will, and when I was 25 after participating in parish movements and others, I decided to leave my profession, I’m a history teacher, I worked in a school, and I entered the seminary”said Ignacio, detailing his religious background.
“It was 8 years of ministry and 8 years of seminary, in short, 16 years of my life consecrated to the priestly vocation”added the attendee.
Then Guido wanted to know: “And how did you get the idea of giving up being a priest?”
Then, Ignacio explained: “I met my partner, my wife, Gabriela”. And then he explained that the love story began in the midst of the pandemic, when he officiated online masses. So, she added him to the social network Facebook and that’s where the conversation started. “They talked and it went to another level. He traveled to meet her and another story began,” Guido said.
“How does it feel to be in the confessional as a priest?” the driver then asked him, wanting to know more about his years as a priest.
“It is a very particular grace from God because in that moment one is nothing but an intermediary of God’s love and nothing more and nothing less,” Ignacio replied.
And he reflected: “It was a good stage while it lasted and I never imagined that I would meet Gabriela or win the two million pesos. If one thing is clear to me, it is that God wants us to be happy. This is a great help, because after so many difficulties that I have gone through from various points of view, this is a great help”.
“It’s just that I’m almost having a heart attack, I can’t believe our lives have changed in such a short time, two and a half years. We form this family, Matías disappeared, he’s 20 and it’s working now. And well, We form this beautiful family and we are moving forward with a project that we want to… one day get married, and they are all invited,” added Ignacio after one of his triumphs, along with Gabriela and her family.
As for the wedding, Ignacio has assured that it will be “with all the laws, and this (for the prize) is a great help, so we will continue for more,” he continued, clarifying that he points to the record of the program , currently in the hands by Alexis Nubile, the 23-year-old who won 10 million pesos.
Behind him are now Ignacio and Pablo Davita, who participated at the end of 2022 in “Los 8 escalones” and managed to accumulate 8 million pesos.
