Mexican singer Luis Miguel reappeared this Tuesday, February 14, in the middle of Valentine’s Day, to announce that he will tour in 2023, but he didn’t offer any further details.
“El Sol de México”, as they call Luis Miguel, the 52-year-old singer, has formalized his return to the stage through a message on social networks.
The star performer surprised her followers by announcing her return to the stage on her official Instagram account after a long absence, but did not specify any dates.
In the publication, with almost 600,000 likes, the singer posted a photo of his face, smiling with the message “Luis Miguel Tour 2023”.
A walk around Spain, with his new love
Just last January 26, it was noted that Luis Miguel and Spaniard Paloma Cuevas had been carrying on their love for Spain for days, the last place being the city of Bilbao (north), where they could be seen in several photos posted from the magazine Week.
The couple traveled in a private jet from Madrid to Bilbao last weekend and enjoyed the good menu of a restaurant recognized with a Michelin star, according to that medium.
Images posted by Week have certified a love story that was already in the media, since some time ago they were seen in a hotel in Madrid, where the “Sol de México” stays, and later in a department store in the Spanish capital.
The relationship between the Mexican singer and the Spanish has been in the mouth of the press of the heart in Spain for months.
The couple met thanks to the friendship between Luis Miguel and Enrique Ponce, Cuevas’ ex-husband, with whom they shared days of bullfighting and boleros on the farm that the bullfighter has in Spain.
Ponce and Cuevas split in 2020. He has since maintained — or maintained — a relationship with young Ana Soria.
The version about his retirement
Last year, it became known that shortly after releasing his smash hit bolero album Romance, 22-year-old Luis Miguel considered retiring from songwriting.
“Sometimes it’s a bit boring and difficult to sing. Retirement? I’ve thought about it many times and very often, but I never do. It’s not a dream. But sometimes the pressure is so great and you are so overwhelmed that you think: I’m going to retire, I’m leaving my degree, I’m dedicating myself to something else”, Luismi said at the age of 22, in 1992, in an interview, as he compiled The Herald from Mexico.
“Obviously the next day things improve, you continue to work, the pressure drops. You are not always the same, sometimes you are weaker or stronger. But I can’t leave this career, at this point it’s very difficult,” he concluded in that interview.
Luis Miguel’s artistic career begins very young and consolidates immediately. He achieved record sales, won an estimated 120 awards, and established a personal style. Furthermore, some media indicate that he was the first 14-year-old singer to receive a Grammy.
In recent times, the series about his life aired on the Netflix platform and in which Diego Boneta was the protagonist has once again put his figure in the foreground.
The tour he announces will serve to re-validate all those achievements.
