Director Todd Phillips has shared the first image of Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn Joker: Folie à Deux. Clearly, the director knows his audience, and he took advantage of Valentine’s Day to wish fans of the film a good day with an image from the shoot, in which the singer appears alongside Joaquín Phoenix, characterized as the dysfunctional couple who will star in the sequel.
Almost everything that is known about the project so far has been announced by Todd Phillips via his Instagram account. In June of last year, the director took care to confirm that a second part of the success joker he was runningwith an Instagram post showing the first page of the script and Joaquin Phoenix reading it.

Title Folie a Deuxfor its part, it is a French term used in psychiatry to refer to a rare shared psychotic disorder, in which a symptom of psychosis is transmitted from one individual to another. The syndrome is usually diagnosed when affected individuals live in close proximity, are socially or physically isolated, and have little interaction with other people.
Something like this should happen between the characters of Phoenix and Gaga.
Todd Philips will once again be the director and will collaborate again with Scott Silver, with whom he confirmed the script of the first film. Filming is taking place in New York and Los Angeles, and its premiere is scheduled for October 4, 2024.
