Agostino Guardi was one of the most eccentric and suggestive participants of the current edition of Big Brother (Telephone, from Monday to Friday at 10.15 pm). Already removed from the reality show, the young man gave an interview and distanced himself somewhat from his “strategist” character to tell very intimate aspects of his life.

In a note he gave to “El Show de Ulises Jaitt”, the cycle conducted by Ulises Jaitt on Radio XLFM, Agustín recounted his tough family story and compared it to that of Thiago Medina.

When asked about the worst moment of his life, the ex brother referred to three moments in particular: “One was my maternal grandfather’s death which affected me greatly. He was almost like my father, I suffered a lot.”

“Even the death of my paternal grandfather two weeks before he entered the house would have come as a surprise to him. He was a person who instilled many values in me. They were two very difficult moments. She impressed me a lot,” added Frodo.

And he underlined: “Then there was a very personal moment, I went through a bad time, I didn’t see myself very well, I didn’t take care of myself, I was in a rather dark moment in my life. I have seen nothing good, failure after failure, I didn’t hit the mark at work, in my studies I got very depressed. I had a very bad time. I locked myself in my house. I abandoned myself.”

“Have you had a depression”, Jaitt asked. “And yes, I don’t want to rate it because I haven’t treated myself. I didn’t take care of my aesthetics or my health. Almost a year, very bad,” admitted Guardis.

In any case, he explained that while he never thought of doing anything extreme, he let himself go and “didn’t see any point in life.”

Speaking of who helped him out of the depressive pit he had fallen into, Agustín says he straightened the course thanks to his studies, work and his dream of becoming a participant in Big Brother, something he would have achieved in 2022.

“There were several things that made me leave from there. Before I had the opportunity to finish my studies where I wanted, I got a job on a friend’s futsal camp. My friends approached me, my family realized it was wrong and they supported me. I think I was able to move forward because of it,” he explained.

And he added: “I’ve seen signs to move forward in life. Those who resist realize their dreams. The important thing is to get back up. Years later with the hope that some GH will appear, I get this news and I think it was the final touch for all. I was able to fulfill my dream of being one of the best players in the edition. I wanted to mark a story, I think, with all the support from around the world, we managed to make this dream come true as well as not making it to the final.”

The difficult family economic situation he had to face

“Did you ever miss a weight in your wallet?” Ulises Jaitt asked Agustín on the radio show. “At home there’s always fighting. The Big Brother room is bigger than the house where I live with my old man, my old woman and my two little brothers. We are all kids here. There is one room for my parents and another for me and my siblings,” she said.

Agustín compared his family reality with that of Thiago Medina, also a former participant in the current edition of GH.

In this sense, while not comparing his reality with that of Thiago Medina, he understands what a family feels when it manages to make ends meet just enough: «Luckily I haven’t been through what Thiago went through, but I’m not far from him, even if everyone sees that I am blonde with light eyes, I come from a family of workers. My parents were poor, they had a hard time, they worked very hard to get this little house.”

“We live on just enough, I’ve never lacked for food, clothing and education. For us, buying a kilo of ice cream is a pleasure, a drink. to share. Going to the cinema was an odyssey. Going out to eat was inhospitable. Going on vacation was a family effort. I was working my ass off. I was cleaning, I was a pit. Children’s party entertainer. Gardening, masonry. It was work and study”he concluded.
