Another BTS releases a solo album – now it’s Jimin’s turn

The BTS artist and band agency BigHit Music added that in this album, Jimin will “showcase his musical world with a distinct voice and delicate interpretation.”

Jimin made his debut with the BTS septet in 2013 and he has released several solo songs over the past decade parallel to the group activity. For example Lie, serendipity, with you and most recently, a collaboration with BIGBANG vocalist Taeyang called vibration.

From 2016 to 2018, Jimin helped graduates of Busan Hoedong Elementary School cover the cost of their uniforms. After the plant closed, she gave away summer and winter uniforms to students and autographed albums to the entire student body.

In early 2019, he donated $88,000 to the Busan Department of Education to support low-income students, and the following year he donated the same amount to the Jeonnam Future Education Foundation to create a scholarship to fund the students with problems of the province of South Jeolla.

In July 2021, Jimin donated an additional $88,000 to Rotary International to help polio patients. As with previous donations, it was done privately; however, in September, the Rotary Club of Go-seong displayed a thank-you banner.

Finally, to cap off that philanthropy, on October 12, 2021, it was announced that Jimin had become a member of the Green Noble Club, a donor group of the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation that has given in excess of $100,000.

Other band members are also working on their own projects, such as I hopewho released his first solo album, Jack in the boxon July 15, and which was the first to be released after the well-known boy band announced a temporary breakup in June.

Consisting of RM, Jimin, Jin, V, Suga, J-Hope and Jungkook, the band broke several records and won national and international awards that no South Korean pop group had ever achieved before and was the first Asian band to become a band global musical phenomenon.
