“At the hands of Federico’s doctor (Bal, his son), I do an endoscopy and a colonoscopy. And this is done in the operating room. After, you have to recover. That’s why I’m not going to work tomorrow”, Carmen explained,

“The last time I did it I was 24 – said the rider who is 67 today -. Sometimes you have to do it… You need to do it more often, but I’m a little scared”.

Subsequently, Carmen clarified that what scares her is the fact that they put her under anesthesia. “The anesthesia is mild,” she said, “that’s so it doesn’t bother or hurt.”

Also, Barbieri commented what was the reaction of his son Federico Bal when he heard his fears for the studies to be done tomorrow. “Fede told me: ‘Don’t make a scandal like that, I always do'”.

It should be remembered that in March 2020 Fede Bal was diagnosed with colon cancer which, fortunately, he managed to overcome through chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatments. But of course you should continue to have follow-up colonoscopies.
