The work tells how, under the pretext of representing “King Lear”, other works begin to be exhibited. How does this distribution take place? Anyone who plays the role of king is dissatisfied with his character, is unwilling or unwilling to accept that role, and therefore interrupts the performance as soon as the problem comes into tension. In this way the interpreter begins to develop other roles that seem to account for his theatrical history.

The tour features lyrics ranging from ‘King Lear’ to ‘The Tempest’ and of course ‘Hamlet’ is a must. The work continues and the whole company is adapting. The characters become familiar to the protagonist and the hospital staff, where the protagonist appears to be hospitalized. Thus three levels are established: the work, the work within the work and “reality”. This last level, that of “reality”, realizes that everything has finally happened in the thought of who is in the last battle of life.

“Stubborn is a job that it is about the perseverance of a body in living and how time limits us in that fight. Through the work we try to explore this philosophical notion in an innovative and exciting way,” says director Marcelo Savignone.

In addition to the director himself, the cast is completed by Florencia Otero, Sofía Gonzalez Gil, Belén Santos, Valentín Mederos, Guido Napolitano, Milagros Coll and Priscila Lombardo.

The assistant director is Damián Minervini, the choreography is by Luciana Acuña and Marcelo Savignone and the costumes are by Pía Barberis.
