Tom Sizemore, actor of Saving Private Ryan, has died

Actor Tom Sizemore, who suffered a brain aneurysm on February 18, He passed away this Friday at the age of 61.. Remembered for his role in the film Save Private Ryan (1998), his career fizzled in the midst of conflicts over gender-based violence and drugs.

According to his representative, Charles Lago, he died while in a coma in intensive care at a hospital in the city of Burbank, Los Angeles, California, United States.

On Monday, Lago had released an official statement to indicate that “the doctors have informed him of his family there is no more hope and recommended the decision of end his life“.

On February 18, Tom Sizemore collapsed at his home in Los Angeles and was rushed to hospital by paramedics. There, doctors determined that he had suffered from a brain aneurysm as a result of the a hit.

Known for playing tough guy, Sizemore rose to fame in the 90s with films like Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man, Passenger 57, True Romance AND Killers by nature.

Sizemore got his big break in the war film of Steven Spielberg from 1998’s Saving Private Ryan, in which he played Tech Sergeant Mike Horvath.
