The Scream VI marketing campaign causes fear and confusion in the United States

So far, Paramount Pictures has declined to comment on the matter.

A fun community manager

The new movie

Wes Craven created the genre-blending franchise nearly 30 years ago and directed its first four installments, he shouted since 1996, scream 2 of 1997, scream 3 since 2000 and Scream 4 since 2011. Paramount and Spyglass rebooted the property with 2022’s Scream (which inexplicably dropped the Roman numeral behind the film title).

The R-rated thriller made a killing at the box office with nearly $140 million dollars globally.

Of course, if you see a Ghostface-faced killer wielding a knife next to you, it is very likely that it is a marketing strategy, as we said. But just in case, it’s best not to get too close.
