In the midst of a huge scandal, Víctor Hugo Morales resigned from C5N on Monday 6 March. The journalist was supposed to go on the air with La Hora de Víctor Hugo at 7:00 pm, but he did not show up in the studio and the program did not go on the air, according to journalist Luis Ventura.
In TV invaders (América TV), Luis Ventura -who is also president of APTRA- revealed that the driver left the news channel furious because they owed him several months of his salary and didn’t want to pay him when he went to complain.
The motivations
First, enigmatically, Luis Ventura and María Belén Ludueña provided the information in the pass with Ángel de Brito and THEY.
“Someone didn’t get paid, kicked in the door, closed it and walked out when it was supposed to be on the air, yes or yes. He’s an international number one. He left because he wasn’t paid anymore for a month. Number one in everything,” Ventura began.
Then he explained: “He knocked on the door with the intention of punching. He came in and said ‘I want to collect’. They told him no, that there was no money, that there were a couple of months left to collect. He doesn’t need it (the money), but of course it’s his right. He went crazy, broke down the door and left.
Finally, Ventura revealed the enigmatic: “Víctor Hugo Morales left C5N in this way, in what is the prelude to the next elections, unless there is a counter march, it is definitive.”
We will have to see what the channel says and how the story with the journalist will continue.
