Elián Ángel Valenzuela, popularly known as L-Ghenthe assured it was victim of discrimination at Berlin airport, Germany. On his Instagram account, where he accumulates more than 5.3 million followers, the singer cumbia He told his side of everything that happened.
First, the musician, who is touring several cities in Europe with his Maflia Tour – Cumbia 420, shared a video of him walking with an assistant through the airport at dawn.
Then, in the following Instagram story, L-Gante explained: “That person made us miss our flight. We lose work, we waste time, of course. We woke up at 5 in the morning to be able to travel and do our work in Spain, we are in Berlin. So, I don’t know, we’ll have to keep complaining,” he expressed his anger at a well-known international airline.
“They discriminated against us for overflow”, continued L-Ghent.
Then, the singer shared a short video in which he exposes the person of the airline with whom he had an intersection.
“This person who works for the airline with racist attitude for being South American and arrogance for having flight authority went out of his way to not let us fly to work!”she wrote and asked her followers to message the airline: “I need everyone in Argentina, Latin America and other parts of the world to follow me to fund me on this!”.
soon after, L-Gante shared another picture of that person and added the hashtag “Discriminator”.
“They have these kinds of people working in customer service. They resort to ridicule, sarcasm, discrimination, arrogance and abuse. Due to his lack of common sense, he made us miss our flight to go to fulfill our obligations, an agenda planned months in advance, room reserved, tickets sold, etc! A lack of respect and professionalism from the airline to have staff like that!” added the singer, very annoyed.
Jamaica’s father, the result of his relationship with Tamara Báez, then shared several images of the comments that his followers sent to the airline, which then – again via Instagram – sent him a reply.
The airline’s response to L-Ghent
“We are contacting you regarding what happened on flight 3673 from Berlin to Madrid,” begins the statement sent to L-Ghent.
And then the problem that occurred is detailed: “Due to lack of space in the cabin, we were forced to remove some passengers’ hand luggage and drop it in the holdsomething that is normal in all airlines”.
“Transfer to you that we are investigating everything that happened as we believe that the safety of both the flight and the rest of the passengers has been jeopardized,” he specifies. And finally they reject the online exposure that L-Gante made of the employee: “Please be advised that, by law, it is forbidden to disseminate images of someone without their consent.”
Due to what happened, it is not yet known whether L-Gante will make it to its presentation in Malaga, Spain, scheduled for today, Thursday 9 March. Then, their shows will continue in Valencia, Madrid, Barcelona and Alicante.
