Julian Weich made a cheesy joke about actor Bruce Willis’ health during an interview with Sebastian Wainraich and generated a lot of discomfort in the broadcast of Radio Urbana Play. Now the driver he withdrew and apologised for your unfortunate comment.

“Good morning, friends. I’m here to publicly apologize for the tasteless joke I pulled on Mr. Bruce Willis. I had no bad intentions. it was just a bad jokeso I apologize,” said Julián through a video he uploaded to his Twitter account.

And he concluded the tweet he accompanied with the hashtags #goodmorning and #sorry with a request: “I hope that this message has the same scope as the diffusion of my bad joke, which all the media have taken it upon themselves to spread. So thank you and see you next time.”

Two days earlier, during the radio show interview round and a halfa cycle hosted by Wainraich, Julieta Pink and Pablo Fábregas at Urbana Play, Julián made a controversial joke about the disease of the famous Hollywood actor, who suffers from frontotemporal dementia.

“You don’t remember anything, you’re worse than Bruce Willis, son of a bitch”Weich told Wainraich after the cycle driver didn’t recall a very famous situation that took place Surprise and 1/2the famous and popular program of the late 90s hosted by Julián.

After the interviewee’s joke, an awkward silence immediately fell in the radio studio. “Nooooo,” was Wainraich’s first reaction to the inappropriate comment.

The interview continued elsewhere, but on social media some users have not forgiven the joke and have expressed their discomfort in listening to it. “What was the intention to compare the driver to a person with a disease?”, a Twitter user questioned him. Meanwhile, another, more poignant wrote: “How unfortunate and out of place.”

Currently, Julián apologized and his followers also appreciated the gesture. “It feels good to apologize for something wrong said or done. It makes a person better than they can be,” a tweeter told him.

“Knowing you, you had no bad intentions! Don’t give a ball to scoundrels,” was another of the messages of support for one of the UNICEF Goodwill Ambassadors in Argentina.

The hard disease of Bruce Willis

At the end of March 2022, the family of Bruce Willis announced that the legendary action actor would retire from the profession due to the diagnosed with aphasia, a disease that affects cognition.

However, there was an even more serious symptom that was later noted. A little less than a month ago, Demi Moore, Bruce’s ex-wife, and Emma Heming, Willis’ current wife, announced that the artist suffers from frontotemporal dementia.

“It’s a cruel disease that many of us have never heard of and it can affect anyone”the two women wrote in a statement they signed together with the actor’s five daughters.

And they concluded, very sad: “For people under 60, it is the most common form of dementia, and because it can take years to get a diagnosis, it is probably much more common than we know.”

This disease is caused by a group of disorders that gradually damage the frontal and temporal lobes of the brain. These damages cause alterations in thinking, behavior and the consequence of brain damage that affects the ability to speak, write and understand language, both verbal and written.
