Antonio Gasalla he turned 82 and the notorious of intruders (America, Monday to Friday at 1:30pm) Gonzalo Vázquez went to his door to try to write him a note. But the actor was not in the best of moods and, angry at one question, he began to insult him.
“Some time ago the neighbors saw Antonio Gasalla come out of the door of his building and we understand that the actor will return to his house in a few minutes. That’s why we are here waiting for him”, said the reporter in the first instance.
After saying that they were waiting for him for more than two hours at the door of his house, the notero reported that the comedian, at first, was nice but that from one moment to the next he changed his state and began to insult him non-stop .
Before presenting the note on the air, Vázquez recounted his surprise at what he had to witness: “From that moment a situation develops in which Antonio gets angry and ends up insulting a lot”.
“The sensation was strange. I have seen it different. I always see him with a lot of respect, but I saw him as if he didn’t really care what they would say. We were very respectful to take note and he made the decision to respond very emphatically,” she pointed out.

“Let’s see, can we see the note please?” asked Florencia de la Ve, host of the cycle. “Happy birthday, beautiful, how are you?” she asked Gasalla for the note, trying to create a pleasant atmosphere. “Yes…”, Antonio managed to answer, without encouragement.
“How do you feel about your health, how are you these days?” asked the reporter. And that question bothered the actor: “I don’t know, go ask someone.” “I’m asking because it’s your health…”, the notero tried to clarify.
“Well, don’t break the eggs”, Gasalla told him, fed up with the journalist’s questions. “But I don’t bother him…”, Vázquez tried to defend himself. And again Gasalla insulted him: “Go to hell, because I don’t want you to say stupid things to me.”
“But it’s our job…”, explained the reporter. Antonio, however, did not slacken: “If you’re going to work on this, go to your mother’s shell”
“Do you have something to limit?” the Intruder’s chronicler asked for the last time. “Go to shit”, Antonio limited himself to replying from inside his building and visibly upset.
“We were surprised by Antonio Gasalla’s attitude because we went with the best of waves to consult him on his birthday…”, explained Gonzalo, at the end of the note attempt they had tried to make for the celebration of the birthday of the artist 82 years old.
After announcing his retirement as an artist in September 2021, according to various journalistic sources, Gasalla is not having a good time and would not be in the right mood to go out and give interviews.
In one of the actor’s last television appearances, there was also an altercation with a journalist from in the afternoon (America) who was interviewing him.
At the time, Gasalla had been infuriated when asked about a rumor that he had put his house up for sale due to alleged financial problems.
“Did they sell the house? Why did they remove the for sale sign?” launches the reporter. Then, the actor and creator of iconic characters like La Nona, answered the shouts and the note was cut off.
