Iván de Pineda’s fans exploded with joy on social media. It happens that the TV presenter and model who after 26 years, last January, returned to being the face of Versace in the Spring-Summer 2003 campaign, now he has taken to the catwalk in the fashion show that the prestigious Italian brand held in Los AngelesUNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
The fans of the Argentine who drives Password (Telefe) were fascinated to see the images of Iván in the show attended by celebrities such as Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner and which were Elton John, Cher, Noami Campbell, Demi Moore, Dua Lipa and Anne Hathawayamong other international celebrities.
Tall, elegant and relaxed, Iván de Pineda made a splash with his all-black look at the show that took place at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood.
With his hair slicked back, with hair gel and eyes lined, he wore a half-open shirt, straight-cut dress pants, and a towering crocodile-style coat of hammered patent leather. He was wearing high-heeled shoes and a small shoulder bag.
Such elegance has awakened huge enthusiasm among his Argentine fans. For example, some of the comments that have been read on Twitter.
For its part, the Italian haute couture firm explained the spirit of this new Spring-Summer collection in a text. He did so in the following terms: “The collection defines Versace’s vision of modern masculine opulence, comprised of trousers and jackets, the brand’s signature diamond-shaped graphic and gold-tone finishes.”
Iván de Pineda, returned with glory to Versace
Iván de Pineda’s show in Los Angeles for the Italian haute couture label is the second stage of his return to Versace. The first occurred in January when he posed, like Dutch model Mark Vanderloofor the graphic campaign called “Icons”.
About that campaign, at the time, Versace released a statement offering details. In said text, praise for the Argentinean Iván de Pineda was not spared. There, the Italian brand expressed:
“Captured by photographers Mert & Marcus, the series of studio portraits of the models are inspired by the original campaigns of 1996, the year in which Mark and Iván make their debut with the brandand which pays homage to Both like what i am, true legends of Versace, now and always”.
Donatella Versace herself, through her social networks, expressed: “I love these photos of Mark and Iván. Since the 1990s, they’ve been defining what it should be powerful, sexy, sensitive and charismatic. They are the real Versace men, the ones who aren’t afraid to express their creativity through their clothes.”
When Versace posted these photos of Iván in the “Icons” campaign on Instagram, the comments from his Argentinean followers were as numerous as they praised the model and driver.
Other expressions of enthusiasm included: “My country, my country”, “Elegance no longer belongs to France”, “World champions”, “Mate, dulce de leche, barbecue, tango, Soda Stereo , the national football team, Messi, the best foreign film 2023… and IVAN DE PINEDA… we love you Iván”.
