The $300,000 lawsuit against Gwyneth Paltrow over a skiing accident moves forward

A neuropsychologist who treated the man who sued Gwyneth Paltrow for a skiing accident in 2016 he criticized testimony from medical experts hired by the celebrity’s legal team. He argued that, as his personal physician, he was better able to talk about the symptoms than Terry Sanderson76 years old, after the concussion suffered.

“Many of the experts are simply expressing opinions. I feel I’m the best judge of what happened to him,” the doctor said. Alina Fong.

Fong’s videotaped statement was first shown on the third day of the trial in Park City, the luxury Utah ski resort where Sanderson accuses Paltrow of ski so recklessly as to meet himit broke his ribs and left him with permanent brain damage.

Fong said that when he saw Sanderson less than a year after the accident, he had lost his love for life and said he was often dejected and cried. Under her care, she said Sanderson worked tirelessly to rehabilitate post-injury symptoms. concussionincluding pain, headaches, and mood swings.

Accused of planting false leads

On cross-examination, he accused Paltrow’s lawyers of plantation “red herrings” deceive the jury. Fong said the conclusions of Paltrow’s experts, who have not yet testified, are “easily refuted by simply going online and looking at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendations.”

Neurologist Richard Boehme e Paltrow herself may also be called to testify Thursday or Friday.

sanderson Sues Paltrow for at least $300,000she claims she accidentally bumped into him while the two were skiing down a beginner slope at Deer Valley Resort in Park City, Utah.

During the first two days of the trial, Sanderson’s lawyers and medically expert witnesses described how his injuries were likely caused by someone rear-ended him. They attributed notable changes in Sanderson’s mental acuity to injuries that day.

Paltrow’s attorneys tried to represent Sanderson as a 76 year old male whose decline has followed the normal course of aging rather than the result of an accident.

They have yet to call their own witnesses to testify, but in opening statements they told the jury they plan to call Paltrow’s husband, Brad Falchuk, and their two sons, Moses and Apple, to the witness stand.

Paltrow’s team previously accused Sanderson of suing “to exploit his client’s wealth and fame.” The actress was awarded an Oscar for her role in Shakespeare in love (Shakespeare in love) and is the founder and CEO of the successful beauty and wellness company goop.
