Animation will have Florence Pugh, Olivia Colman and Wagner Moura in the voice acting team
DreamWorks has confirmed that “Puss in Boots 2: The Last Request,” an animated spinoff of “Shrek,” has officially been delayed. The film, which was previously supposed to hit theaters on September 23, will open on December 21, 2022.
The animation focused on the famous character of the franchise, Puss in Boots realizes that his passion for danger and disregard for safety have taken their toll, exactly eight lives. So, he decides to leave for his last adventure, his ninth and “last life”.
Entitled “The Last Request”, the feature has Salma Hayek (“Eternals”) in the role of kitty Pata-Mansa and Antonio Banderas (“Uncharted: Off the Map”), which returns to voice the feline protagonist.
“Puss in Boots 2” will still have the additions of Florence Pugh (“Black Widow”), olivia Colman (“The Crown”), Wagner Moura (“Narcos”), Harvey Guillen (“What We Do in the Shadows”), ray winstone (“Black Widow”), John mulaney (“Big Mouth”), Da’Vine Joy Randolph (“The Lost City”), Anthony Mendez (“Jane the Virgin”) and Samson Kayo (“Our Flag Means Death”).
