The web series Melancholitis, which marked Bruno Blanchet’s return to fiction, will launch on Wednesday on ICI Tou.tv. He feeds into the plot of the series, as Bruno travels throughout Quebec on the run to collect testimonies of love for his friend and release him from his frustration.
This plot is largely a reason to revive the characters of the two friends, and the list of what we see in the series is quite complete. The chemistry that works between the two performers is intact.
More than the nods of the past, Melancholitis presents from the early stages of new anthology scenes. The one where Bruno Blanchet and Guy Jodoin presented themselves with their simplest device threatened to make an impression.

Anne-Marie Losique’s revenge
Melancholitis is also a way for Bruno Blanchet to make changes and offer some sort of revenge to personalities he has flayed over time, Anne-Marie Losique being the first. He also plays the main antagonist of Bruno and his band in the series, along with Gaston, a hilarious new character who fits perfectly with the old ones.

The stars seem to be aligned, as FouKi is the nephew of Pierre-Michel Tremblay, script-editor of Melancholitis. Despite his lack of experience, the rapper accepted the challenge with enthusiasm, feeling a certain connection between his universe and Bruno’s, both of which were somewhat offbeat.

A unified project and flawless filmmaking
