“Brooklyn Nine-Nine” has captivated comedy fans throughout its eight seasons, bidding them farewell in 2021 with the final episodes. But despite this, the actor Terry Crews (“Everybody Hates Chris”) – responsible for playing Sgt. Jeffords in the plot – revealed that if it were up to him, the story still continues in a feature film.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, crews said he still has ideas for Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg) and the gang, and that the story would make a good sequel to the 99th episode. “I still think we can make a heist movie”commented the actor.

“We had our annual robbery episode and I think [um filme do gênero] would be brilliant, especially with Peacock [serviço de streaming da NBCUniversal] and the great things NBC can already do. I think every member of the cast would be willing to do a good hour-and-a-half episode of ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’.”suggested terrybefore declaring his love for the colleagues he worked with for eight years. “They are my family. Over the eight seasons, the series starred crews, Samberg (“Palm Springs”), Melissa Fumero, Andre Braugher, Joe Lo Truglio, Dirk Blocker, Stephanie Beatriz (“In A Neighborhood of New York”) and Gina Rodriguezshowing the daily life of Brooklyn’s 99th Police Station.

“Brooklyn Nine-Nine” was previously canceled by Fox, but was saved by NBC after fans staged a massive campaign for the story to continue. According to the creator of the production, Dan Goorthe final season, consisting of 10 episodes, will address the Covid-19 pandemic and the wave of protests that took place in the United States against police violence against black citizens.

In Brazil, “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” is shown on Warner Channel, and its seven seasons are available on Netflix.
