foo fighters announced the release of a new album titled But here we are, which will arrive on June 2 via Roswell Records and RCA Records.
It will be the first studio album that the band will release. after the death of Taylor Hawkins.
Although fans had already detected some indications posted on the group’s social networks, this announcement confirms the launch.
According to a press release, the album is a “brutally honest and emotionally raw response to everything the Foo Fighters have endured over the past year.” An indirect way of talking about the pain the group went through after Taylor’s death.

Taylor’s death
On March 25, 2022, drummer Taylor Hawkins died at the age of 50 in a room of the Casa Medina hotel in Bogotá, the capital of Colombia.
According to a statement from local health authorities, a call was made to 911 because Hawkins was suffering from chest pains. When medical attention arrived, he was found dead.
The band was touring South America at the time of the event and was scheduled to perform at the Estéreo Picnic Festival in Bogotá that same night. His last recital had been in our country a few days earlier.
Taylor Hawkins was born in Fort Worth, Texas on February 17, 1972, but at the age of 4, his family moved to Laguna Beach, California.
He was Alanis Morissette’s drummer for two years on the ‘Can’t Not’ tour and in 1997 replaced original Foo Fighters drummer William Goldsmith when the band concluded their album tour. The Color and the Shape.
