“I Felt the Cold of Death”said Marixa Balli THEY (America, 8 pm), the cycle led by Ángel De Brito, which evokes The car accident that almost cost him his life and in which who was then his companion died.
The tragedy occurred on March 16, 2000 on Route 2, near the Samborombón area, in the city of Coronel Brandsen in Buenos Aires. There, Mariano Fischer, 27, Marixa’s boyfriend, lost his life. She, in very serious condition, had to be hospitalized in intensive care. Since then, Marixa has almost not wanted to talk about it, much less tell the details that she revealed last night to THEY.
“I remember everything”, he recalled, “we came from Mar del Plata, because I went to visit my family. We left at dawn. We had chatted…”.
At one point in the journey, Balli said, she was frightened by the high speed her partner was driving at. “We stopped at a toll booth. And as she was driving very hard, I said to him: ‘stop because we kill each other‘” he recalled.
“He promised me that he would slow down, but after the last chime, he started very strong. He never looked at me again. Real or not real, the cabin, which was for two people, has become a freezer,” explained Marixa.
Marixa Balli: “My partner was dying in my arms”
Later, Marixa gave further details: “We were coming at great speed, the car flips over nineteen times and at one point it stands up and looks like a flying saucer, according to the technical experts.”
“Obviously what happened was tragic: my partner was dying in my arms – she evokes with emotion -. Everyone was like ‘how did he get out of that car’: I was completely hurt, my head was touching the asphalt, it was a terrible thing that I was saved because I have an angel who protected me.”
“I had a very bad time, it was very difficult, I was conscious, I got out of that situation and I still don’t know how I did it, I remember every second. I got out of the car as if I was lost”.
“When the last bump ends, I start to pinch myself because I thought I was on another plane. I open my eyes to tell him, ‘let’s go down’ and there I see everything. He was dying,” she recalled.
The premonitory dream of a hairdresser
“I never said that,” Marixa said, and then revealed chilling details of what appears to have been a premonition. “Three or four days before I went to Mar del Plata to see my relatives, a hairdresser from Channel 9 told me: ‘I had a terrible dream, I didn’t want to tell you, but I will tell you: I see a lot of bloodI see you with blood and lots of blood and I also see Rodrigo (Bueno)’, who then killed himself three months later”.
Holding back tears as much as she could, Marixa continued by telling: “When we returned from Mar del Plata, in Castelli we filled up the petrol tank. Betty, this lady, had given me a picture of the Unbound Virgin. the service station, I took out the note and began to pray. Reading the prayer of the little Virgin I said ‘I can’t make it in Buenos Aires’, because I have a very developed sixth sense which sometimes scares me. I asked him to protect me.”
“To this I add this That same day, in the afternoon, when we went to have lunch on the beach, he almost drowned in the sea.. Did you see that I can’t pronounce his name?” said the dancer and speaker.
“The bathers had to rescue him and give him mouth-to-mouth resuscitation because he was very sick, think we were the only ones on the beach in March, I couldn’t believe what he was experiencing. When he recovered, the bathers asked him what had happened in the past and he said, ‘I felt like they were grabbing my feet, pulling me down,'” Balli said.
“So, he was very sick. And when we came back that night, when he took off from the last toll booth, he did it at full speed. I asked him to please slow down, but he never looked at me again,” he continued conjuring. he yells at her to do it but at one point the cabin turned into a freezer believe it or not i couldnt move my hand though he wanted to throw me out of the car because he knew we were going to kill each other”.
Ángel De Brito asked her if she thought her partner had wanted to kill himself. “I don’t think he decided to kill himself,” answered Marixa. I heard something else. I felt that cold that everyone counts before death. I had to go to therapy for many years because I couldn’t get the cold out of my body. Only a specialist in these traumatic incidents could cure me.”
