This weekend the alarms went off again for the state of health of Camilo Blanes, the only son of the late Camilo Sesto and the Mexican Lourdes Ornelas. The 39-year-old had been missing from the media spotlight for months and a post on his Instagram account once again drew attention to his state of health, with hundreds of followers concerned about the lack of assistance and help for the young man.
A reappearance, in which he is seen very deteriorated, which his mother, Lourdes Ornelas, has already spoken about. On other occasions the Mexican woman has been quite optimistic and reassuring, but on this occasion she couldn’t hide her desperate tone for this situation that is already out of reach.
Even so, the Mexican is always aware of her son’s presence. Camilo Sesto’s son has three people in his residence who look after his well-being, but apparently the young man always does what he wants.
With this desperate situation, Ornelas spoke with journalist Aurelio Manzano. Very disheartened, she admitted that her son was not well: “you can no longer talk to him. For me and for Camilo, I have no one to trust, everyone moves for interests. Camilo has only me and his girlfriend, María. He’s an adult and we can’t do anything. I can’t turn it off.”

“He says to me: ‘What a mess for some photos!’ He does not feel good, in fact, it has never been like now. I can’t do anything, the law doesn’t protect me. I can only keep an eye on it,” she complained.
“I don’t know what I can do, legally I can’t do anything. When he was in hospital he only had 4% life, I could make decisions there, but now I can’t,” he explained.
After all, the best his mother has been able to do is hang a sign on the door of her son’s house warning certain visitors who come to that address, whom she does not deem appropriate, and who forbid them to enter. The sign, however, was removed after a few hours.
“I’ve been looking for help for him for a long time and I’ve come across a concrete wall a thousand times. My biggest concern is that his life is in danger every day, constantly,” says Lourdes Ornelas in a letter she sent to the Fiesta program, “This disease is very cruel for him and for the family that loves him. There are those who understand it and others judge him harshly without knowing what is behind it. He is a good person who has been through a lot”.
Camilo Sesto’s son deleted the controversial images when he learned of his mother’s complaint, but only to publish another one in which he “answered” to all those who had worried about him. Again wearing a wig and glasses, also presumably from his father, Camilo Blanes replied with a question and putting a finger to his temple: “Are you okay?

Camilo Blanes’ home in Torrelodones is under constant surveillance by the press, so reporters follow his every move.
All the more so after the singer’s latest fright, for which a health service helicopter had to come and treat him due to a very worrying relapse after more than two months in the intensive care unit of the Puerta de Hierro university hospital in Madajahonda with assisted breathing.
