Apologies

This video is to offer an apology to all those people who came to feel offended, (…) an apology to Father Luis Armando who was the one who launched the strike for us (he did the favor) to put this video together . It is a super positive song that I know you will like, especially for the entire Guadalupano Shrine community with a lot of respect and love, said rapper Alemán in a video posted on social networks.

It was the priest Luis González Torres himself who acknowledged having authorized Alemán to record his video in the church of the Sanctuary of Guadalupano.

“Sometimes on social networks it is taken out of context, even if what circulates is when Alemán is there at the altar recording, it was at that precise moment that I reminded him that he had authorized them to use the church, but that they could not they went up to the altar, immediately came down and continued to record,” said the parish priest.

The priest said that the image of the Blessed Sacrament was not in place at the time the video was recorded, because it had been moved to a private chapel and that he did not even lend the rapper his liturgical clothing, because he brought his own clothes.

González said that Alemán explained to him what the song was about and that he also justified himself, assuring that many series and films are recorded in churches; In addition, the faithful bring musical groups and even mariachis to weddings, baptisms and first communions, as well as in serenades to the Virgin of Guadalupe or other saints.
