According to US media reports, the actor passed away on March 26 after battling his illness for two months. But the news has only just arrived.

Ron Faber was born in 1933 in Milwaukee (Wisconsin, USA), studied economics at Marquette University and got his first job in the entertainment industry at a children’s radio station.

Later he made his way into the theatre, where he developed most of his career.

On television he was part of the cast of series such as kojak (1977), which follows the relentless and incorruptible Lieutenant Teo Kojak, played by Telly Savalas, or the crime soap opera The edge of the night (1983).

He also played Pepitone and Santmyer in the first and eighth seasons of Law and order.
