In April, filming for the second season of the dragon houseprequel set 200 years earlier game of Thrones, centered on an intra-family conflict of the House of Targaryen which ends with the division of the family into two factions. Its launch is scheduled for 2024 on HBO, will have eight episodes and will be filmed in the studios in Leavesden, UK.
By the way, the end of the dragon house has become the most watched show on HBO and Ryan Condal, creator of the series, has promised that the season will bring a real war spectacle.
Now, the end of season 1 has clearly left two sides vying for the throne of Viserys I, following his death. One gathers around Rhaenyra, daughter of Viserys and that the king himself declared that she should take the crown and the other, around Aegon, firstborn of Alicent, second wife of the late king and rampant misogyny.
Both sides had little fighting until tragedy struck when Lucerys, son of Rhaenyra, was slain by Aemont, dragon of Road Rage and second son of Alicent.
The theme of the second season
The situation was already very delicate in that fratricidal competition, since all that was missing was the bloodshed that came with the assassination of Lucerys and which will lead to a war that will be the central theme of the second season, where everything seems to indicate it there will be dead everywhere.
For those who have read fire and bloodFrom George RR Martinthe book on which the series is based, will have a good idea of how things played out, even if anyone who has seen game of Thrones You won’t be surprised to learn that the bleak picture involved all sides.

At least four new cast members will join the new season.
