Two weeks after the death of Guillermo Calabrese, Elnueve has defined who will be the new pilot of What a morning!the culinary magazine commanded by the cook.
From Monday 8, his place-with a totally different record– will be occupied by the animator and announcer Mariano Peluffo, which was away from the small screen since last year. the last thing had been like all expressof NetTV.
The chef passed away suddenly on Friday 21st, due to a heart attack. Starting the following Monday, cycle management was in rotation, waiting for the channel to decide on its definitive replacement. Who else was taking the reins of the program was the cook John Ferraraone of the oldest Argentinian cooks.
In that public TV classic, Ferrara had been part of the team that Calabrese commanded for years.
Although Peluffo is not a cook, What a morning! it will continue to have a culinary feel, as “Cala” was fond of saying. That’s why there will always be chefs sitting at the table of the morning cycle. The team that will support him will be the same that accompanied Calabrese: Daniel Gómez Rinaldi, Maia Chacra, Diego Bouvet, Bárbara Casan, Agustina Díaz, Andrea Purita and Alejandro Gardinetti.
Each of them will tell (as they have done so far) about current events, sports, fashion and everyday life. All within the context of a dynamic of recipes and gastronomic advice.
Peluffo, a TV man
Peluffo comes to this screen and to this challenge with vast experience in various formats, including Big Brother, a reality show in which he played various roles, in particular conducting the first debates.
He has also been the face of several screens, such as Telefe (with zoobugsArgentinian talent, lost in the tribe AND masterchef), that of Net TV and that of TV Pública, the channel in which it hosted the format Argentinian speakersin search of the female voice of football stories.
Monteverde opened fire
Jimena Monteverdewho, by the way, was the cook of Mirtha Legrand and Juana Viale in their programs El Trece, was urgently summoned to be in What a morning! after Calabrese’s death.
Despite the emotionality of the case and the sadness in the study, She knew how to get the expedition done, but there was no way it would stay putas that week (a few days later) it had to debut its own program on the same screen.
“It was a very special and very sad show. I tried to give him the vibe that Calabrese had, that he had humor, that was fun, I tried to do something with his cooking, ” shared Monteverde after being replaced that day in radio statements with the character Moskita Muerta.
From that same Thursday (April 27), Monteverde drives from Monday to Friday Cooking school, an expedition that aims to be a gastronomic academy where every day you are taught how to prepare various dishes and desserts. All seasoned by his culinary skills and his graceful imprint.
